Rent-a-Parent’s Temporary Service provides a babysitter in your home for daytime, evenings, weekends, and overnights. These positions can be for one time only or on-going. We carefully match a sitter to your needs depending on your children’s ages and the requirements of the position. We also follow up for your feedback – this enables us to track your favorite sitters. You can request the same person for multiple times and we will always attempt to satisfy your request.
Our promise is to provide your child with as much consistency as possible.

Fees
There is no registration fee. The agency fee is 35% of the sitter’s total per day. This is paid separately by credit card. You pay the sitter directly at the end of the job by cash, check, etc.
Cancellation Policy: Assignments require a 24 hour cancellation notice, otherwise the minimum 4 hours will be paid to the sitter and agency. (Please note that the cancellation policy for overnight jobs is 48 hours notice.)
The hourly rates below apply to most assignments, however, rates can vary depending on the age combination and number of children.
4 Hour Minimum
Newborn – 3 yrs: $26 per hour
$24 hr. for 1 child (3 yrs +)
$26 hr. for 2 children
$28 hr. for 3 children
Notice Required: Please give us as much advanced notice as possible. You can ask for the same person for multiple times and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Same Day Placements: $20 service charge.
Special Needs Rate: Most caregivers charge $25-30 per hour to care for children with special needs. Rate depends on the child’s care requirements.
24 Hour Rate: This service allows you to be away on a pleasure or business trip and have someone caring for your home and children. Rate negotiable – rates vary depending on number of hours, ages of children, and job details.
